Young Girls with Real Fashion Sense

How were you as kid? Were you the type who’s a bit grown up for your age? Were you the type who excelled in everything you did? Were you the ultimate plain Jane? Or were you the type who was clueless about almost everything? Why am I asking these questions? I just think that kids nowadays are so privileged with so many great stuff that we could only dreamed of when we were young ( unless of course if you’re children of well-known celebrities ).

For instance, internet was almost like unicorn back then. It didn’t exist. Even if it did, it wouldn’t be as sophisticated as today. I had my hands on the internet only when I reached 16. But today, with a child as young as 4 years old has already been playing around with the computer, it can only be my guess at what age children are exposed to the world of cyberspace.

I was also clueless about fashion back then. For me t.shirt and jeans were the ultimate fashion statement. I know. I was a dork. I only got to get out from my comfort zone when I bumped into a fashion mag which also happened to be not mine. I was 18.

But now if you find out that your young girls are really into fashion, you can introduce them to this site for them to express their creativity. Who knows they’ll be the next Donatella Versace or Stacey London.

GirlSense.com is an online fashion community for aspiring young designers that let girls ( or boys ) DESIGN their OWN LINE OF CLOTHING, create and advertise their own ‘E-boutique’ ( man….if only we had it back then ).

They can also shop for other boutiques and what’s best…...they can collaborate with real designers that offer their fashions through their own virtual boutiques to GirlSense.com members. Now tell me if that’s not cool.

GirlSense.com is a place where girls have the opportunity to enhance their imagination and nurture their creativity. Not to mention some new friends they can get to know in the process. You also need not to worry about security as it is a safe online community. GirlSense is COPPA compliant (COPPA compliance) requiring site operators to maintain the confidentiality, security and integrity of all members’ personal information 12-years-old or younger.

If you’re still clueless about it, maybe this excerpt from a press release can help you.

“GirlSense.com also brings out the entrepreneurial spirit by incorporating a number of free market principles. Members buy and sell clothing to each other from their e-boutiques and run virtual businesses. The members “purchase” clothing from each other using virtual g-cents money, (no actual dollar value). Each boutique is designed by a member as are the virtual fashions that are on display. Once users have created their fashion line, they can save them in their online boutique and share them with their friends via e-mail. Additionally, members can set a price for each of their designs that will appear in their e-boutique for others to purchase, or just display. Popular fashions are purchased frequently lining the designer’s piggy bank with lots of g-cents to shop at other boutiques.”

Now if this touches you in many ways, visit GirlSense.com and let your young girls express their creativity positively. Help them to build their confidence. It is a site for aspiring young designers, a place to explore fashion creativity and to build fashion skills.
